Where did the Aura-Soma therapautic system originate?

The name of the therapeutic system, discovered by Vicky Wall, a British Chiropodist and pharmacist, was transmitted to her by means of prayer and meditation. This happened when she was 66 years old and blind. When she received the first formulas for the Aura-Soma substances she had the impression that they were being transmitted to her with input from her father, Abraham Berne, a one-time Hasidic Herbalist, who had passed on some years earlier.
Her hands were guided to produce the ingredients in the bottles; 50% oil and 50% water; the exact proportions that are ideally suited to penetrate the skin. They were produced with no artificial stabilizers.
At first these bottles were thought of as cosmetic bottles but as time went on it turned out that they had an extraordinary healing effect on people. Vicky reported that a woman with a feverish abscess turned the tide of the infection by applying the Royal Blue/ Magenta "Rescue Oil" to the affected area. Patients with migraine headaches and chronic back pain experienced a lessening of pain. Other oils helped with depression, heart ailments, etc.
Vicky Wall discovered that the lower fraction corresponded to the "true aura" of the person; that certain something about the essence of humans and that their innermost being is related to colour. The substances are effective and the colours unlock secrets of the vibrations of the body and harmonize them. These work on the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical level in a very gentle way. Aura-Soma is described as a "non-intrusive soul therapy". Therapies, functioning in a similar way are said to have been practiced in the healing temples of ancient Egypt and ancient Greece, by the Essenes and other societies and cultures. Today, there are millions of Aura-Soma users worldwide as well as thousands of trained practitioners.
